Dave Matthews Band Concert Review

I remember waking up a few weeks ago to the sound of my mailbox closing on the front door. I had been eagerly awaiting the tickets for the Dave Matthews Band concert. To my surprise I had finally got them in. I was absolutely thrilled that I would be hearing a band like DMB play in a live setting.

When I got to the venue, which was actually rather small, I didn’t know for sure what to expect. This was the first time I was at this particular place. I had got my tickets so late, I had to opt for seats that were further away from the stage. However, when I walked in and found my seats I was actually very satisfied with them. They were close enough to the stage that I could still see them easily and still feel the impact of the music. All at the same time, I knew in my head I had paid much less for my tickets than those sitting on the floor.

The opening band, whom I can’t even remember their name, were particularly not the best. They were okay, but you could tell that the crowd was just waiting for DMB to come on stage. Many were up walking around and buying t-shirts at the time that the opening band was playing. It was slightly rude, but not much different than most concerts.

When DMB came out to play, everyone went absolutely crazy. It really shocked me at how many people were there were such passionate fans. You could tell in their screams, hollering, and loud singing along with the songs that they absolutely loved them. DMB did not disappoint either. Their stage lighting was awesome which flickered along with the songs. DMB really brought the house down and was a lot of fun to see.
