U2 Tickets – U2 Tour Pushed Back After Frontman Bono Undergoes Surgery

Fans with U2 tickets for the Irish rock band’s previously scheduled June 3 show in Salt Lake City, Utah may have to wait a little bit longer to see Bono & Co., as they have postponed the gig. U2′s official website reported on May 21 that frontman Bono underwent emergency back surgery at a Munich hospital.
According to the site, Bono sustained an undisclosed injury “during tour preparation training” and will remain in the hospital for a few days before resting up at home in Ireland. U2′s June 3 show was supposed to kick off the next North American leg of the U2360 Tour and there is no word yet on whether more shows will be pushed back as well.
